Perry Y. Young is the sole shareholder of Perry Y. Young, P.A., a Member of the Firm.  Mr. Young was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 26, 1966.  Mr. Young received a B.A., magna cum laude, with departmental honors, from Hamilton College, Clinton, NY, in 1988.  He received his Juris Doctorate, with honors, from The George Washington University in 1993.

He was admitted to practice by the New York State Bar and before the U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 1994.  In 1997, he was admitted to the Arkansas Bar, and to the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas and has since been admitted to the Eighth Circuit.

Mr. Young is a member of the Saline County, Pulaski County, Arkansas and American Bar Associations.  He is the former President of the Saline County Bar Association (1999-2000).  He is a Barrister in the William R. Overton Inn of Court where he has been a member since 2007.  He has been elected Special Judge in the Saline County Circuit and District Courts. 

Mr. Young spent four years practicing as a commercial litigation attorney in New York prior to moving to Arkansas, where he has practiced since 1997.  He has taught classes for the Law School Aptitude Test, and as a certified law enforcement instructor he has taught Saline County Sheriff’s Reserve Deputies prior to their commission.  He has taught numerous continuing legal education classes, primarily on business entities, real property, and debtor-creditor relations. 

Mr. Young has served as board member and as President of the Saline County Homebuilders Association (2002-2003).  Mr. Young is the representative member of the Firm in the Saline County Executive Association and Benton Chamber of Commerce.  He has sat on the Boards of Ballet Arkansas and United Way of Saline County.  He is a returning member of The Gridiron satirical stage production, and plays keyboards as part of The Dizzy 7 band. 

Mr. Young primarily practices in Commercial Litigation; Real Estate Litigation; Debtor-Creditor Law; Commercial and Real Estate Transactions; Business Formation and Sales; Creditor’s Representation in Bankruptcy; Business Succession Planning; Estate Planning; Probate Law and Domestic Relations (divorce, custody, support, guardianships and adoptions).

Mr. Young is married to a Little Rock attorney and has three children, including a pair of twins.
